Such shipping companies as P and O or White Star Line, in the UK, were famous for producing magnificent cruise liners - especially for the trans Atlantic routes. Today, such companies as Cunard, carry on the tradition. Going on cruises has long been the domain of the rich, but these day, a place on such iconic vessels is within almost everyone's reach.

Today's large ships like the Titanic have all facilities onboard, swimming pools, 5* cabins, spa's etc. they can be called luxury cruisers and as they are operated for profit they can also be called a commercial cruise liner.
A luxury yacht is smaller than a cruise liner, they can have pools and they do have luxury cabins they are mostly owned by very rich people.
The larger type of boats that people take for vacations or overseas to different locations is called a, "cruise ship." We can also say that it is a, "luxury," ship as to say that it is a really nice or fancy style of cruise ship.
