If one thing is approaching, then it is the 'coming' thing.
"The coming train is the 1022 from Paddington to Glasgow."
When one thing follows another then it is the 'next' thing.
"Next month, I will be holidaying in the Seychelles."
何か（時間・出来事・物）が近づく(approach)という時は、"coming"を使います。
"The coming train is the 1022 from Paddington to Glasgow."
（次に来る電車はパンディントンからグラスゴー行き１０２２番だ。）
「何かの後に続いて〜」と表現したい場合は"next"を使います。
"Next month, I will be holidaying in the Seychelles."
（次の月、セーシェルで休暇を楽しみます。）

There are three ways to describe one year in the future.
