現地って英語でなんて言うの？

日本語で、『現地』をどのようなニュアンスで使うかによって英語では変わっていきます。

meet there；meet at a designated place；meet at the venue（現地集合）
local people.（現地の人々）
local time（現地時間）
a native（現地人）

例：
I will meet you there.
現地集合ね。

I like talking to the local people.
現地の人々と話すのが好きです。

英語に「現地」翻訳すれば local/field　になります。　例えば　現地の人々 = local people. 　
「現地集合」はちょっと違います。

現地集合 = Meet at the venue / Meet you there

例：Where are we meeting tomorrow?
明日どこに集合しますか？
We are meeting at the venue

"the location"は「現地」を意味します。和英辞書によると「現地」の英訳は"actual place"・"actual location"と言うそうですが、定冠詞の"the"を使ったら「前述の場所」の意味合いになります。

"the venue"は"the location"に近いけど、"venue"は特定のイベントが行われる場所です。したがって、登録済みのイベントの集合なら、"the venue"は一番相応しい表現だと思います。

"on-site"も「現地」を意味しますが、仕事場を想像します。

例文一：
Let's meet at the location.
現地集合しましょう。

例文二：
Let's meet at the venue.
現地集合しましょう。

例文三：
Let's meet on-site.
現地集合しましょう。

"Meet you there"は「そこで君に会うよ！」なので、イコール現地集合を表します。

I will just meet you there then!

現地は基本的 local と言います。例えば、「現地の人」は the local people と言います。しかし、「現地集合」という表現は meet directly at the venue になります。Venue も基本的「会場」という意味ですが、「現地集合」ですと venue の意味が幅広くなります。

『現地集合』という言葉はありませんが、『そこで』『その場所で』という意味でthereを使うといいと思います。また、イベントなどで『その会場で』という意味ではvenueも使います。
