All phrases can be used to describe an area where you would park a car. Usually a Parking lot is in an open area and a parking garage has some sort of roof and is either underground or overhead. A parking area is anywhere you can legally park a vehicle.
All of these are names for places where you park your car. Parking spaces are individual spaces that are found inside of an open parking lot or enclosed car park. Be careful as some of the spaces are reserved for persons of importance or the handicapped.
There are various ways of referring to an area where one can park their vehicle in English. Larger commercial areas are usually referred to as parking lots or parking garages. Individual parking locations can be referred to as parking spaces or parking places.
For example, how many parking spaces do you have in your garage?

Parking spaces or places can either be free or require some per hour fee to leave one's vehicle in them. Garages and parking lots on the other hand, usually require that you pay (or be an active customer) in order to utilize them.
