例えば、病院の向かい側にあると言いたい時ならば across from the hospital と言いますが、この状況ではおそらくあなたが立っているところの向かいを指すと思うので、across the street =「道を渡る」と向かい側になります。
It’s the bus on the other side.

on the other side ＝ 逆側、反対側の〜
On the other side = the side opposite from where the speaker is, or from where the conversation is focussed.
A: "OK, I understand you are standing at the entrance to the station, is that right?"
B "Yes."
A: "OK, well if you look across on the other side of the street, you'll see the taxi office."
B: "Oh, yes, I see it!"
On the other side ＝ the side opposite from where the speaker is or from where the conversation is focused.「話し手がいる場所から見て反対側か、会話の中心になっている場所から考えて反対側」
A: "OK, I understand you are standing at the entrance to the station, is that right?"
「分かった。君は駅の入口のところに立ってるんだね。合ってる？」

You can drop the word 'bus' from 'bus stop' if it was already brought up in the conversation. ie. "You can take the bus to my apartment. You get off at the stop across from my place." These examples are just saying the stop is on the other side of the road/ across the road.
「bus stop」の「bus」は、すでに話題に上っていれば省いても問題ありません。

"You can take the bus to my apartment. You get off at the stop across from my place."
(アパートまでバスで行けますよ。家の反対にバス停があります。)
これらの例では「stop (バス停) が道の反対にある」と言っています。
To say 'across the street' it the same as saying 'across the road' meaning the other side of the street or road.
So you would say 'It's the bus stop across the street' or 'It's the bus stop across the road'

When you want to explain that the bus stops on the other side of the road, you can explain it in the following ways:
-It stops on the other side of the road.
-The bus stop is right across the street.
-It's right there, across the road.

All three suggestions are common and should only be used if the person understands where the original bus stop is. If you would like to be more specific if there was not a bus stop being referenced than you could tell them the direction the bus is going. Something like "The bus stop that goes north" Etc.
3例ともよく使われますが、相手が元のバス停の位置を知っている場合にしか使えません。
より具体的に言いたい場合、基準となるバス停がない場合には、バスが進む方角を伝えてもいいです。例えば：
