（よくある場合は、sometimesをusuallyに変えてもいいですね。）

→when it comes to:～に関して言えば よくネイティブが使う表現です。
ネットショッピングの写真は信用できなくて・・・
You should try the clothes on before you buy it.
→ここでいうyouは一般論のyouとなります。
服を買う時は試着した方がいい。という表現になります。
私も、ネット通販はあまり信用していなかったのですが
先日ネットで買い物をして、mayuさんが仰る通り全然想像と違いました。
Lesson learned.（＝教訓になりました）
