  • Today's not good, but tomorrow is okay.

  • Today's not good, but tomorrow is.

「今日は[ダメ](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/13194/)、明日は[大丈夫](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/4716/)」は英語ではこのようです。 Today's not good, but tomorrow is okay. Today's not good, but tomorrow is. この場面には「ダメ」は英語では not good になります。キャジュアルな会話をする時に使います。友達や家族とかの時に使います。 ご参考までに。

  • Today does not work for me, tomorrow would be better.

  • "Tomorrow would be better, I am busy today."

  • "I cannot make it today, but I am free tomorrow."

"Today does not work for me, tomorrow would be better." Work for me - Meaning that today is not convenient or is not a good time. You cannot fit it into your schedule. Other examples "Tomorrow would be better, I am busy today." (Telling what day would be good for you and then explaining why, because you are busy.) "I cannot make it today, but I am free tomorrow." (Cannot make it, meaning you are busy, have something else to do. Free - available, able to make it.)
"Today does not work for me, tomorrow would be better." 〔訳〕今日は都合が悪い、明日の方が都合が良い Work for me - 今日は都合が悪いという意味です。予定に組み込むことが出来ない。 他の例文 "Tomorrow would be better, I am busy today." 〔訳〕明日の方が都合が良い、今日は忙しいから (どの日があなたにとって都合が良いかを言って、忙しいからという理由を説明しています) "I cannot make it today, but I am free tomorrow." 〔訳〕今日は行けないけど、明日なら空いてるよ (「Cannot make it」は、忙しい、他にすることがあるという意味です。Free - 時間が空いている、行くことが出来る)

  • Today isn't good for me, how about tomorrow?

  • I already have plans for today, does tomorrow suit you?

  • Today doesn't suit me unfortunately, but tomorrow does!

If you ''have plans'' it means that you have already made arrangements with someone else or to do something else. Therefore you are not free to hang out. Asking someone if tomorrow ''suits'' them means you are wondering if they are free, or if they already have plans. Example: Q: Does tomorrow suit you? A: Yes it does, I've nothing planned for tomorrow. or A: No it doesn't suit me, I've already made plans!
「have plans([予定がある](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/47280/))」は、他の誰かとの[約束がある](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/49726/)、他に予定があることを表します。 「Does tomorrow suit you?(明日はどう?)」は、明日時間があるか(他の予定があるか)尋ねる質問です。 例: Q: Does tomorrow suit you?(明日の都合はどう) A: Yes it does, I've nothing planned for tomorrow.(いいよ、明日は何も予定はない) または、 A: No it doesn't suit me, I've already made plans!(いや、だめです。予定があります)

  • I am busy today. How about tomorrow?

  • Could we try tomorrow? I can't today.

Sometimes we want to make plans with friends but it is not possible the same day as they recommend. If someone recommends that you do something with them today and you can only do it tomorrow, you can use some expressions such as: 1) I am busy today. How about tomorrow? 2) Could we try tomorrow? I can't today.
時々、私達が友達と計画を立てたいとき、彼らが言う日は無理なことがあります。 もし、誰かが今日何かをしないかといい、明日にしかできないとき、以下のように言えます: 1) I am busy today. How about tomorrow? (今日は忙しいので、明日はどうですか?) 2) Could we try tomorrow? I can't today. (明日はどうですか?今日は難しいです。)

  • I'm occupied today but am free tomorrow

When discussing contrasting situations you may use words such as: but, however, on the other hand, conversely. "It's blue sky right now however the forecast is for rain."
対照的な状況について話すときには、次の語句が使えます。 'but', 'however', 'on the other hand', 'conversely' "It's blue sky right now however the forecast is for rain." 「今は青空ですが、この後雨が降る予報になっています」

  • I'm very busy today, can we go tomorrow?

  • I already have plans for today, but I'm free tomorrow!

Native speakers will say like this: “I'm busy today, are you free tomorrow? ”. There are lots of other ways to say it, but this one is the most accurate and most commonly used. Here is an example on how to use this in a conversation: A: Hey, do you want to hang out today? B: Sorry, I'm rather busy today, how about tomorrow?
ネイティブスピーカーは次のように言います。 “I'm busy today, are you free tomorrow?” (今日は忙しいです、あしたは空いていますか) 他にもいろいろな言い方ができますが、これが最も正確で一般的です。 会話では以下のように使えます。 A: Hey, do you want to hang out today?(今日遊びませんか) B: Sorry, I'm rather busy today, how about tomorrow?(ごめんなさい、今日は忙しいです。あしたはどうですか)

  • I can't today but tomorrow should work.

  • I can't today but I'm free tomorrow.

The two sentences you see provided above are excellent ways to express to your listener that you can't do something today but you can do something tomorrow. In the first sentence you will see the verb work. Although this word has different meanings in this sentence it means to have good results. This is word that is common in our everyday conversation and it would make a great addition to your vocabulary.
上記例文は二つとも「今日はNGだけど、明日ならOK」ということを伝える文章です。 一つ目の文章に、”Work”という動詞が使われています。Workにはいろいろな意味がありますが、ここでは「うまくいく」という意味になります。ネイティブスピーカーがよく使う言葉なので、あなたのボキャブラリーに追加すると良いと思います。

I'm busy today, but I can do tomorrow. Today is no good for me, but I'm available tomorrow. I can't do today, how does tomorrow work for you? These are all suitable ways to make plans to spend time with friends.
I'm busy today, but I can do tomorrow.(今日は忙しいけど明日なら大丈夫だよ) Today is no good for me, but I'm available tomorrow.(今日はダメですが、明日なら空いています) I can't do today, how does tomorrow work for you?(今日は無理です、明日はどうですか) これらは全て、友達と会う予定を立てるときに使える表現です。
