は、"thank you for assisting/helping someone."
"It was a big help." 、"good job."

When talking to a child if you make them feel good about doing something they are more likely to do it again they like to feel good and get praised
'thanks for helping mummy/mum' is the best way to thank them then you can tell them how well they did by saying 'you did a good job' or how much they helped by saying 'you were a big help'
この後、'you did a good job'(よく頑張ったね)、あるいは'you were a big help'(すごく助かった)などと言えます。
Badiel
「Looking forward to your help next time too!」
If you want to teach the child that helping their mother is a good thing, use the first sentence. It has a "lesson" way about it.
If you want to just thank the child, the last two sentences will work very well. Neither makes mention of the fact you are their mother. Presumably, they are aware of this already, so it is unnecessary.
"Thanks so much mum!"
this is a easy and casual phrase, stating that you are thankful for the help your mother had given you, 'Mum' is another term used to describe 'mother'.
"I really appreciate all the help mommy!"
To appreciate something is to be thankful/recognize the help that has been given.
"Thanks so much mum!"(どうもありがとう、お母さん)
"I really appreciate all the help mommy!"(いろいろ手伝ってくれてありがとう、お母さん)
'To appreciate something'
