天候って英語でなんて言うの？

「天候」が英語で「weather」と言います。

例文：
天候が悪い日（雨の日や雪の日）はだいたい家にいます。　ー　I usually stay at home when the weather is bad (if it rains or snows).

Good weather. いい天気/ いい天候。

Bad weather. 悪い天気 / 悪い天候。

The weather in March is usually really good. 普通の3月の天気/天候はとてもいいです。

ネーティブではないのですが、僕のイメージは天気が短い、そして天候は少し長いです。なので、The weather today is so bad の場合は「今日の天気はすごく悪い」の方がいいと思います。

天候が悪い日はだいたい家にいます。I usually stay home when the weather is bad.

「天気」はweatherで、
「気候」がclimateと言いますm(__)m

おっしゃられている内容だと、日々の天気を言っているような文脈なので、
weatherが良いと思いますm(__)m

• On days when the weather's bad, I often stay at home.
  天候が悪い日はだいたい家にいます。

• When it's raining or snowing, I often stay in.
  雨が降ったり雪が降ったりする日はよく家にいます。

• On rainy days or when it's snowing or when the weather's bad in general, I tend to stay at home.
  雨の日や、雪が降っている日、または、一般的に言えば天候の悪い日はですね。。。私は家にいる傾向があります。
