ある講演で、これは “You only live once.” としか言わないから、あの有名な『007は二度死ぬ（＝You Only Live Twice）』というタイトルが生まれたんだ、と話がありました。これはこれでそのとおりだと思いますが、果たして本当にネイティブスピーカーはこれ以外言わないのでしょうか。

英語圏にてよく聞く、他の言い方として、
ラテン語の「Carpe diem.」（直訳：「その日を摘め」）や、
「Nothing ventured, nothing gained.」（「虎穴に入らずんば虎子を得ず」）もありますので、ぜひご活用ください。
YOLO was a very popular concept for a while, and it stands for "you only live once." However, it's more popular with the younger crowd, and I would recommend "Carpe Diem" for adults and more educated groups.
