お待たせして恐縮している状況だと思いますが、通常 Thank you for 〜 の形で言えば大丈夫です。
例文1の Thank you for waiting.の直訳は「待っていただいてありがとうございます」、例文2の Thank you for your patience.の直訳は「ご辛抱いただきありがとうございます」ですが、
いずれも日本語の「お待たせしました」にあたり、電話口だけでなく、対面での接客にも使えます。フォーマルでもそうでなくても使えるので、覚えておくといいでしょう。

こちらはよく耳にする表現ですが、
英語圏の場合、日本語ほど使う必要はないように思われます。
電話の窓口であれば、多少待つのは当たり前なので、
30秒～1分以上待たせてしまった時意外、使わなくても特に問題はない・・・というのは僕の個人的な意見になります。
使うならば、

など、英語圏の文化に合わせて「丁寧」よりも「フレンドリー」な表現が自然となります。

Thank you for ～で、～してくれてありがとうございます。という意味ですので、
待って頂いてすみません、待って頂きありがとうございます。
というニュアンスでは、Thank you for waiting.で十分伝わるかと思います。
日本語でお待たせ致しました、というようなかっちりした表現は英語にはあまりないのでは。
カジュアルに聞こえるかもしれませんが、Thank you for waiting.で構わないです。
Thank you for waiting. I have the price for you, it is $10.00
If you have kept someone waiting or holding on for some time on the phone, it is good manners to apologize when you finally come back. The adjective 'sorry' expresses 'regret' that you kept him/her waiting/holding on for all that time. We usually say 'please hold on while I transfer you' or 'please wait' while I get the price for you.
So, you may say:
Sorry to keep you waiting.
or
Sorry to keep you holding on for so long.
or
Thank you for waiting. I have the price for you, it is $10.00
電話で相手をしばらく待たせたなら戻った時には謝るのが礼儀です。形容詞の "sorry" は、待たせてしまったことへの後悔の気持ちを表します。
普通は以下のように伝えます：
"Please hold on while I transfer you"
「おつなぎするのでお待ちください」
"Please wait while I get the price for you."
「値段を確認するのでお待ちください」
英訳例：
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
「お待たせして申し訳ありません」
または、
"Sorry to keep you holding on for so long."
「お待たせしてしまって申し訳ありません」
または、
"Thank you for waiting. I have the price for you, it is $10.00."

We are said "to hold the line" when engaged on the telephone..... In this case a client or customer has been" left hanging on the line" ;-D he is holding on for a returning party....It is only polite.... to thank someone for their patience
IE "Holding on" until your return.
"Hi, again...Thank you for holding, I can now tell you what you need to know!"
電話では「hold the line（電話を切らずに待つ）」という表現を使います。
ここでは、お客さん（client／customer）が待たされていた（left hanging on the line／Holding on）わけですね。辛抱してくれた人にはありがとうと伝えたいですね。
Holding on＝電話を切らずに待つ
"Hi, again...Thank you for holding, I can now tell you what you need to know!"
もしもし、お待たせしました。わかりました！
If you think that you are going to keep them on hold for a long time you should always refresh the call. This means continuously informing them that you are going to be with them in a few minutes time and the reason why you are taking longer as well. In this case you use the sentence "I am sorry for keeping you waiting."
相手を長く待たせるなら、電話を "refresh" したほうがいいです。これは「あと数分で戻ります」とか「こういうわけで遅れています」とか、細かく状況を伝える、ということです。
ここでは "I am sorry for keeping you waiting." と言えます。
Im sorry to keep you there, thank you for waiting!
I appologise for the wait, thank you for holding!
When makking someone wait on the phone it is always good manners to appologise to them for making them wait for you. You can use any of the above sentences to do this. These sentences are all formal and would show that you didnt want to make the customer wait for longer than was necessary and that you are sorry that they had to hold.

When we ask someone to wait on the phone while we do or figure something we would ask, "can I put you on hold?" When we come back we would thank them for, "waiting," or we can also say, "thank you for holding," since we asked them to be put on hold.
