on top of that や in addition to that などもありますが、これらはもっとカジュアルなシーンで使います。
例：
Our new Prime Minister seems to make a lot of odd decisions, moreover, he says things that are offensive to people from other countries.
「新しい首相は変わった決断をする。その上、他の国の人々に対して攻撃的なことも言う。」
You won't be getting that promotion you were hoping for, furthermore, there may be company-wide lay-offs at the end of January.
「望んでいた昇進はないだろう。しかもその上、1月末に全社員対象のリストラがあるかもしれない。」
