英語では “lively / cheerful / energetic” の反対として、quiet / withdrawn / flat / not himself を使うと自然です。
ポイントは3つです。
「子どもらしい生気」＝ lively / cheerful / full of energy
「生き生き」「生命力がある」は lively（生き生きした）が近いです。energetic（元気いっぱい）もよく使います。
