"Yummy" is a less formal way of saying delicious food. "I want to eat it right off the screen" means that the food and the picture on Instragram looks so good that I have to virtually eat it now.
"Salivate", or "salivating" used figuratively means to show a great desire for something. A culinary metaphor would be "mouth watering" which means to produce "saliva" because something looks so delicious, thus to salivate.
"yummy"は"delicious"（おいしい）のよりインフォーマルな言い方です。
