Can you understand my English?
Do you understand my English?
「(今言った)私の英語[合ってます?](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/25403/)」(英語を何か言った後に)だったら
Did I say it right?
Did I say that correctly? If no, can you tell me how to say it correctly?
Are my English and grammar correct? If not, can you please correct me?
Does my English make sense? Can you teach me how to say it correctly?
I could always ask if something is correct rather than asking if it makes sense. Just because someone understands what you mean does not necessarily mean it is correct. So when possible, ask if something is "correct"
You could say "Does my english make sense?" or "Does my english sound clear?" but the phrase to "make sense" is quite common because if something "makes sense" then it's good enough and comprehensible.
"Is my english clear/understandable?"
- This can also be said to find out if you're making sense or not.
If it's not correct, ask your teacher :
"How should I say it?" or "What is the right way to say it?"
あなたは"Does my english make sense?" または、 "Does my english sound clear?" ということができます。
「make sence」は、とてもよく使われます。
make senceには、説明が十分だ、理解できる、という意味があるからです。
"Is my english clear/understandable?"
- これは自分の言いたいことを伝えられているかどうかを尋ねるフレーズとして使えますね。
それが正しくない場合は、先生にこう尋ねてください:
"How should I say it?" または、 "What is the right way to say it?"
Did I say that correctly just now? If not, can you tell me how I should say it?
Are my pronunciation and grammar correct? How should I say it?
Were you able to understand what I just said? Should I say it differently?
The first example is a broad way of asking if what you said is correct. The second example lets the teacher know you are specifically interested in knowing if your pronunciation and grammar are correct. Sometimes teachers can understand what you say, however, there exists a better way to say it. Therefore, the third example is a good way to ask a better way to phrase something.
Please feel free to correct me if I may any mistakes with my pronunciation and grammar
How is my English?
"Please feel free to correct me if I may any mistakes with my pronunciation and grammar" this is a direct way to ask the teacher to assess you at certain areas. This means that the teacher will listen carefully to you pronunciation/grammar.
"How is my English?" this means that you are open for any corrections the teacher may notice.
"Please feel free to correct me if I may any mistakes with my pronunciation and grammar"もしも私が発音や文法など間違えたらお気軽に訂正してくださいね。 文法や発音という特定の分野をしっかりチェックしてほしい先生に頼んでいる直截な表現です。先生は注意深く聞いてくれるでしょう
"How is my English?"私の英語はどうですか?これは、先生が気づいたどんな間違いでも直してほしいという表現です
Does that sound right? - the teacher should be able to know from this question that you want assistance for your pronunciation and grammar.
How would you say that? - the teacher will either agree with what you just said or give you the correct English statement, or even suggest and alternative for you.
Does that sound right? -先生はこれであなたが発音や文法に指導が欲しいことがわかるでしょう。
How would you say that? -先生は、あなたの言っていることにOKをだすか、正しい英語表現を教えてくださるか、または何か違う表現を教えてくれるかもしれません。
If you need to get clarification on what your saying, you could simply ask 'was that correct'
If you don't know how to say something correctly you can ask 'how can I say this correctly' and is my pronunciation ok
自分の言っていることをあっているか確認したければ、was that correct?で大丈夫です。
なんといえばわからない時は、how can I say this correctly?やIs my pronunciation ok?と尋ねることができます。
2. Could you say that for me, please so I can check the pronunciation?
3. Were there any errors in what I just said?
1 and 3 are phrases asking the teacher to tell you about any errors.
2 is asking the teacher to say the word/phrase so you may grasp the pronunciation yourself.
Please tell me if my grammar and pronunciation were correct in what I just said. If not, please correct me.
By starting with the adverb 'please', you are expressing your utmost verbal politeness. A polite request will always attract a polite response. So, you have firstly politely requested the teacher to tell you if your grammar and pronunciation were correct. Then you have proceeded to again politely request the teacher to correct you if he/she considers your delivery to be incorrect.
So you may say: Please tell me if my grammar and pronunciation were correct in what I just said. If not, please correct me.
'please'という動詞で文を始めれば、最大限の丁寧さを表します。丁寧に頼めば、いつも丁寧に応答してくれます。
ですから最初に先生に文法や発音が正しいかどうかを言って欲しいということを丁寧に頼みます。
そして自分の言っていることが間違っている場合は、訂正して欲しいと再度丁寧に頼みます。
ですからこう言うことができます。
例文
Please tell me if my grammar and pronunciation were correct in what I just said. If not, please correct me.
私が言ったことで文法や発音が正しいかどうか教えてください。
もし正しくない場合は、どうぞ訂正して下さい。
If my English is wrong please could you correct me.
The first answer is a way of asking if you have pronounced the word or sentence right.
The second answer is you telling the teacher or person you are speaking with to correct you if you say anything wrong.
If you are unsure how well your English is you can ask them "Is that the right way to say it? or "Is that how you would say it?" Both imply that you want the person to answer you whether you said it correctly if if their is something you should do to improve your pronunciation or grammar.
自分の英語がどのくらいあっているのか不確かなときは、 "Is that the right way to say it?(これは正しい言い方ですか?)や "Is that how you would say it?"(こう言いますか?)と尋ねるのがいいでしょう。どちらも、相手にあなたの言ったことが、発音や文法など直す点があるなら、正しいかどうか答えてほしいことを指します。
"Was that correct?" "If not can you correct me?"
Is a sentence or sentences asking whether someone this correct, and if it was not correct that it could be corrected for them.
If it was correct you do not need to be corrected.
"Was that correct?"(あっていましたか?)
"If not can you correct me?"(あっていなかったら直してくれますか?)
これらは、それが正しいかどうか、正しくなかったら訂正してもらえるかを尋ねる表現です。正しければ、訂正の必要はありません。
Can you please let me know if my sentence structure, grammatical structure and pronunciation is good. If it is not, please let me know the correct way of saying something.
Can you please correct my mistakes as I speak?
If I am not expressing myself correctly, can you please let me know. I'd like to know the correct way too.
例文
If I am not expressing myself correctly, can you please let me know. I'd like to know the correct way too.
もし私の表現が正しくないのであれば、どうぞ教えて下さい。
正しい言い方も知りたいです。
