When we want to give some exciting and very good news to someone, there are a few ways we can talk about this to that person.
1) I have some big news!
This expression is for very important things, if it isn't super big and important, it might be better to use one of the other expressions.
2) I have really exciting news to tell you!
This expression is usually a big thing but sometimes it can be a less important, but still exciting thing.
3) There's something I want to tell you!
This can be something big or small. It can also be used to talk about bad news, too.

When you want to tell someone that there's something you want to tell them and it's good/exciting, then you can say it in the following ways:
-I have exciting news I want to share with you.

-I have exciting news I want to share with you.
-There's good news I want to tell you
-There's news I want to share with you - it's good.
(いいニュースがあります。)
The term news doesn't just refer to what you read in the newspaper but to any sort of event. So when you have good news, it is something good that has happened, as stated in the first sentence. The second sentence shows more of your excitement and it implies that what you are going to say is good but it isn't as direct.
newsという言葉は、新聞で読むものだけでなく、どんな種類の出来事も指します。
ですので、 good newsがあるということは、はじめの例のように、起こった何かいいことを指します。
二つ目は、よりわくわくした感じを伝え、今から言うことがいいことだが、ダイレクトに言うわけではないことを表します。
The three sentences you see provided above are great ways to express to your listener that you have good news you want to share with them. In the third sentence you will see the phrase guess what. We use this phrase to get our listener's attention. This is a phrase that is common in our everyday conversation. It would make a great addition to your vocabulary.
