Both of these answers are a good way of saying to someone that you are excited to see them again.
When you are 'really looking forward' it means that you are very excited about something and are thinking about that thing lots.

When you're emailing someone about looking forward to meeting up with, then you can say:

'I can't wait' means you are really looking forward to something and are counting down until it happens
