送金って英語でなんて言うの？

送金は英語で remittance と言います。

けど、ほとんどの人は remit (money) より send または transfer を使います。send は「送る」という意味です。

例えば、銀行にいくとき、この例文は便利です。

I'd like to send money to America.
アメリカに送金したいです。

I'd like to transfer money from my Japanese bank account to an American bank account, please.
日本の銀行口座からアメリカの銀行口座に送金したいです。

「送金」は"money transfer"や”remittance”で大丈夫です。

多くの外国人が母国にいる家族たちにお金を送金しています。

「送金」という言葉を英語で表すと、「remittance」と「sending money」または「money transfer」という言葉を使っても良いと考えました。例えば、「Many foreign people send money to their families.」という文章を使っても良いと考えました。「Many foreign people」は「多くの外国人」という意味があって、「to their families」は「彼らの家族に」という意味があります。

「送金」は英語で色々な言い方があります。たぶん銀行から銀行へ送金する場合に一番使われるのは 'to transfer money' と言います。
例えば：
「海外送金をしたいですが。」
'I would like to transfer money abroad.'

ちょっとインフォーマルな言い方かもしれませんが 'to wire money' もよく言います。
やや古い言い方ですが、昔は送金というと実際にお金を封筒に入れて送ることも多かったでしょう。銀行がお金自体を動かずに有線通信(ワイヤ)でお金を送ることができました。
だから 'to wire money' と言います「ワイヤを通って送る」ということです。

簡単にいうと「送金」するは 'to send money' と言います。
日常会話とか友達との会話のときはこれを使うでしょう。
例えば
「外国人は働いたお金を母国に送金している人が多いようです。」
'It seems a lot of foreigners send the money they make to their home country.'

「外国人は働いたお金を母国に送金している人が多いようです。」= Many foreigners seem to be sending money they have worked for to their home countries.

「送金するのが面倒ください」= It's a pain to send money.
「送金して欲しい」= I want you to send money.

などです。
