「① Don't make the same mistakes I did」とは、「俺と同じ間違えをするな」という直訳です。
さて、「mistake」ですが、私はあえて複数形を提案しました。
なぜなら、単数だと、ある事柄に関して「同じ間違えをするな」になりますが、複数形を用いると、間違えの重なりを指します。
つまり、複数形を使うと概ね「俺みたいになるな」というニュアンスが伝わります。映画でも使われる表現です。
従って、「① Don't make the same mistakes I did」。
例文：
Kid...Don't make the same mistakes I did. Go to school. Study. Don't take shortcuts.（小僧。。。俺と同じ間違えを起こすな＜＜俺みたいになるな＞＞。学校へ行け。勉強しろ。近道をとるな）
