一泊二日で旅行するって英語でなんて言うの？

日本語では例えば「[１泊２日](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/39502/)」という言葉を使ったり「１泊３日」（夜行便で行くため、実質ホテルで１泊で行程は３日）など、色々とあります。 英語はシンプルな考えで、行程日だけで考える場合とホテルに[滞在する](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/87626/)日数のいずれかを選択します。　特に旅行行程において会話する場合は日数（今回の場合は 2 days ）で、ホテルがメインの会話では 1 night（今回の場合は１泊）という表現になります。 また「[旅行する](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/57527/)」というフレーズは ・go on a trip または ・go traveling / travelling（前者はアメリカ英語のスペル。後者はイギリス系のスペル） の２パターンが主にあります。　前者は「１回の旅行」でだいたい短い行程の旅行に使わます。　後者はバックパッカーのように「旅してまわる」的な要素を含んでいます。 ですので、今回は go on a trip を使って、さらに主語が I の場合を想定してみました。 I went on a trip for 2 days (with my friends) 友達と一緒に（１回で）（友達と）２日間の旅行をしました。 ホテルに滞在した場合は、「～に宿泊する」が stay in ですので I stayed in the hotel for 1 night (with my friends). となります。 話の焦点をどこに置くかによって表現が異なることがポイントです。 お役に立てば幸いです☆
