「ご理解とご協力をお願いします（ありがとうございます）」として、上記のようにシンプルに言うことができます。

もっと直接的な言い方としては、"We (I) appreciate your understanding and cooperation." 「私たちは（企業やグループとして）あなたのご理解とご協力に感謝します。」があります。

また、受け身を使って"Your understanding and cooperation will be (greatly) appreciated." 「あなたのご理解とご協力が（大変）感謝されるでしょう」などの言い方も考えられますね。

Thank you for ... = 〜ありがとうございます
understanding = ご理解
cooperation = ご協力
appreciate = 感謝する
