電話に気がつかなかったって英語でなんて言うの？

Sometimes we miss a phone call because we didn't hear the phone ring, or did not "pick up" fast enough. Other times we are too busy with another task to talk on the phone. When you want to let someone know that you missed their call because you did not notice your phone ring when it came, then you can explain in the following ways: -My phone was on silent, so I didn't hear your call come in. -I'm sorry I missed you call. I didn't see it coming in. -I didn't notice your call.

The first example is a simple apology for not having answered their phone call. It is effective and from there you can talk to the person without a problem. The second example has both an apology and a reason why you did not answer the call, which is that you did not hear your phone.
