補足って英語でなんて言うの？

「補足」は英語で supplement と言います。「補足○○」は supplementary ○○ になります。

例）

プレゼンをする際、パワポだけだと意味が伝わらないと思ったので、補足資料を配ろうと思っています。
I didn't think a Powerpoint would be enough for the presentation; so, I'm thinking about handing out supplementary materials.

補足（名詞）は英語で「addition 」と言います。

「説明を補足する」といった言い回しではやはり、
英語では形容詞additionalを使うことが多いと思います。
訳: to provide an additional explanation　（provide 提供する）

で、上の文脈の「補足資料を配る」を英語で表現したい場合は、
下記の言い方ではいかがでしょうか。
"to distribute additional materials"

I wasn't sure if a simple PowerPoint presentation would be sufficient, so I thought I'd distribute some additional materials to facilitate understanding of my talk.
--- sufficient = 十分
--- to facilitate = 手助けする、促進する

上記の例はどちらでも意味は通じます。

形容詞として「I thought a mere Powerpoint presentation wouldn't communicate the whole meaning, so i provided supplementary materials 」パワポだけだと意味が伝わらないと思ったので、補足資料を配ろうと思っています。

動詞としても言うことができます。「supplement」や「complement」
例：「this job supplements my regular income.」この仕事は通常の給料を補足しています。

「補足資料」は英語で「supplementary materials」や「handouts」、「additional materials」といいます。

'Handout' という言葉です、「配る物」という意味です。
パワーポイントのスライドを小さく印刷するかプレゼンの詳細を印刷することが多いです。

例文：
「パワポだけだと意味が伝わらないと思ったので、補足資料を配ろうと思っています。」
'I don't think the Powerpoint alone will convey the meaning fully, so I was thinking about giving a handout too.'
